Hello, my name is John Heafer, and I am thrilled to embark on this new journey as an Escrow Officer with North Florida Title
Co. With over 30 years of experience in the mortgage business as a VA LAPP/SAR and FHA CHUMS delegated underwriter
as well as a Wealth Management Underwriter specializing in self-employed borrowers, I bring a wealth of knowledge and
expertise to this role. I have obtained various certifications which have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of
mortgage underwriting and closing processes. Additionally, I hold a real estate license, further enhancing my understanding
of the industry.
I am looking forward to working with everyone in the company and contributing my skills while learning something new. My
recent role as a Project Manager at Citi Bank has sharpened my leadership, communication and organizational abilities,
which I believe will be valuable in my new position.
As a people person, I thrive on engaging with others and am always ready to dive into detailed discussions. My extensive
experience in the mortgage and documentation field will undoubtedly serve me well in this new role. I am eager to grow
professionally within this company and see where this opportunity leads.
On a personal note, I have a deep passion for boating with my wife, family and friends on Julington Creek and the St Johns
River as well as fishing on the ICW. You can find me out there almost every weekend.
